A Kandahar behind closed doors

The decision was taken during the last Kandahar steering committee: the Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley will welcome the 2 world cup slaloms on La Verte des Houches on January 30th and 31st, 2021, but behind closed doors. In agreement with the FIS and the FFS and following the current health recommendations, the competitions may take place but must follow the protocol already applied for the other events of the great white circus aimed at protecting the athletes and ensuring the smooth running of the World Cup in an extremely complex context.

No public therefore for this edition but a new digital plan to allow as many people as possible to experience this great ski festival for once virtual!

Thus the Kandahar will be broadcasted free of charge on the digital platform of France tv sport with comments from Alexandre Pasteur and Luc Alphand.
Eurosport, which has been supporting and broadcasting alpine skiing for many years, will as always be on the channel and also digitally with the essential duo Jean-Pierre Vidal and FX Rallet. It is highly likely that Eurosport will surpass the record numbers of Kandahar 2020 with more than 500,000 viewers!
Finally, the Kandahar organization gives everyone an appointment on its social networks and the dedicated site for insides, backstages, contests, news with a novelty from Wednesday: the 1st episode of the web series "La Flèche".
